Yes, you can Part 3

Developing your capacity for greatness

Objective: To help you pay attention to your God given tools ( Gifts and Talents) that will bring you into fulfillment, greatness, celebration, recognition, prosperity, excellence and dignity.

Text: Proverbs 22:29, Proverbs 18:16
1. Your God given purpose is adequately supplied with necessary gifts for successful implementation.
2. You must understand the uniqueness of your purpose before you can appreciate your gifts and talents.
3. Gifts are tools used in fulfilling your God given purpose.
4. Gifts are peculiar skills that qualify you for your assignment.
5. Gifts within you are in seed form that needs to be cultivated.
6. Undeveloped gift is never attractive.
7. The level of investment that you make on your gift is what determines the quality of dividends that your purpose yields.
In order to make sure your potential is realized you must do two things:
(i) Discover your business early
(ii) Invest in your business adequate

a. Educate: Expose yourself to relevant information that will grow the seed of your gift. This could be either formal or informal in nature. Prov 1:5, Prov 9:9
b. Associate: Place your gift around people that will sharpen it. Prov 27:17, Prov 11:14
The right company will maximize the potentials of your gift. On the other hand, a wrong affiliation will compromise your capacity.
It is your duty to find motivating peers that will challenge you and strong mentors that will provide covering, counsel and hold you accountable.
c. Communicate: The capacity of your gifts and talents will not be maximized until you have a group of people you are imparting your knowledge to. As great as learning is, teaching is what establishes the knowledge you gain. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35
