Spirit Filled Life Part 4

Texts: Ephesians 5:17-18; Romans 12:10-11

Objective: To instruct on how to maintain your Supernatural edge in life

Focus: Hearing from God as a lifestyle

Power Points

*Maintaining a spirit filled life will make God’s voice real in your life. God is committed to your supernatural direction in life. It is your covenant right to be led by God. Isaiah 50:4, John 10:2-4

*Hearing from God as a lifestyle demands that you develop an intimacy with the person of the Holy Spirit and consciously acknowledge Him in all your ways. You need to pay close attention to His voice and develop the habit of obedience. Proverbs 3:5-7; 2 Corinthians 13:14

*There is nothing new about famine or difficult times. The world goes in cycles. However covenant men excel in every generation by following God’s direction. Genesis 12:10, Genesis 26:1

*The direction of God is unique for every season. Don’t follow the method that worked in the past, but follow the giver of the method. God has a unique direction for the situations of your life. Genesis 26:2, 1 Kings 17:4,9

*Every child of God is capable of hearing from God. It should be natural for you to be led of God. The Spirit of God inhabits your spirit to make divine direction natural and consistent. Romans 8:14, Proverbs 20:27

*Supernatural direction becomes natural when you mature into sonship. New birth experience produced a child of God in you but it will take conscious spiritual feeding and exercise to step into your sonship. Supernatural guidance is a mark of your sonship in God. Galatians 4:1-4, Isaiah 9:6

*Supernatural direction does not have to be spectacular. It can be as simple as an inner perception. You will miss God if you always looking out for the spectacular. 1 Kings 19:11-12, Acts 27:10; 22-24
